Malachi 1:12
“ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਅਪਮਾਨਜਨਕ ਹਨ ਆਖਕੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਨਖੇਧੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।

| is polluted; | אֲדֹנָי֙ | ʾădōnāy | uh-doh-NA |
| and the fruit | מְגֹאָ֣ל | mĕgōʾāl | meh-ɡoh-AL |
| meat, his even thereof, | ה֔וּא | hûʾ | hoo |
| is contemptible. | וְנִיב֖וֹ | wĕnîbô | veh-nee-VOH |
| נִבְזֶ֥ה | nibze | neev-ZEH | |
| אָכְלֽוֹ׃ | ʾoklô | oke-LOH |
