Luke 6:6
ਯਿਸੂ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ। ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਰੰਗ ਸੀ।

ਕੁਝ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।” ਕੁਝ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਪੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।” ਯਹੂਦੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਕਣਕ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਚੇਲੇ ਕਣਕ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਤੋੜਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਲਕੇ ਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਿਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਆਤਮਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਕਫ਼ਰਨਾਹੂਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Zechariah 11:17
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਆਜੜੀ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਿਆ। ਉੱਸਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਓ! ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੱਜੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਤੇ ਅੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੋੜੋ। ਉਸਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੱਜੀ ਅੱਖ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
1 Kings 13:4
ਜਦੋਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬੈਤਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਨੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਵੋ!” ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਨਾ ਸੱਕਿਆ।
