Leviticus 26:29
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੰਨੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਉਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਜਾਉਂਗੇ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗੋਂਗੇ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਣ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੰਨੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਧੀਆਂ-ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ-ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਖਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਫ਼ਿਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੈ?” ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਬੋਲੀ, “ਇਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ‘ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇਹ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢੀਏ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਖਾ ਲਈਏ ਤੇ ਕੱਲ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵੱਢ ਕੇ ਕੱਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਵਾਂਗੇ।’
Jeremiah 19:9
ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਲੈ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਮਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਇਤਨੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਧੀਆਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਖਾ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਣਗੇ।’

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸਲੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ! ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਦਿਓ: ਕੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਕੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕੀ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ?
Matthew 24:19
“ਇਹ ਵਕਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੁੰਘਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਬਾਂਝ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਬੱਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਦੁੱਧ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।’
