Leviticus 23:19
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਕਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੋ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਲੇਲੇ ਵੀ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।

Romans 8:3
ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਹੀਣ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਸੁਭਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚਢ਼ਾਵੇ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੰਦਣ ਲਈ ਇਨਸਾਨੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
2 Corinthians 5:21
ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
