Leviticus 16:14
ਹਾਰੂਨ ਬਲਦ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਖੂਨ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਕੱਜਣ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਛਿੜਕੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਖੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਸ ਕੱਜਣ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੱਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਛਿੜਕੇਗਾ।

ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਹੂ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਲਹੂ ਅਰਪਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮਸੀਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਉੱਚ-ਜਾਜਕ ਵਾਂਗ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਲਹੂ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
Hebrews 9:13

ਪਰ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਹੀ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਹੂ ਲਿਆਏ ਬਿਨਾ ਦਾਖਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਜਾਜਕ ਉਹ ਲਹੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਪਾਪ ਉਹ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
Leviticus 4:17
ਜਾਜਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁਬੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਛਿੜਕੇ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਗ਼ੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਣ, ਅਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ। ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਬਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ।
