Leviticus 1:1
ਸਵੈਇੱਛਤ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

| called | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| unto | מֹשֶׁ֑ה | mōše | moh-SHEH |
| Moses, | וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר | waydabbēr | vai-da-BARE |
| and spake | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| unto | אֵלָ֔יו | ʾēlāyw | ay-LAV |
| tabernacle the of out him | מֵאֹ֥הֶל | mēʾōhel | may-OH-hel |
| of the congregation, | מוֹעֵ֖ד | môʿēd | moh-ADE |
| saying, | לֵאמֹֽר׃ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
