Judges 9:15
“ਪਰ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀ ਝਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਆਓ ਮੇਰੀ ਛਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਲਵੋ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀ ਝਾੜੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦਿਉ। ਉਸ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੜਨ ਦਿਉ।’

Psalm 104:16
ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਇਦਾਦ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਰੁੱਖ ਬੀਜੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Ezekiel 31:3
ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਸੀ ਇੱਕ ਰੁੱਖ ਦਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਮਾ। ਟੀਸੀ ਇਸਦੀ ਸੀ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ!
Isaiah 1:31
ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਲਕੜੀ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਚਂਗਿਆੜੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਅੱਗ ਲਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਮਲ ਸੜ ਜਾਵਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ।
Judges 9:49
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਕੱਟ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੀਮਲਕ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਰੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਏਲ ਬਰੀਥ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਮਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਢੇਰੀ ਲਾਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇੰਝ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਦੇ ਮੁਨਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 1,000 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਦ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
