Judges 7:21
ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਠਹਿਰ ਗਏ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ, ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੱਜਣ ਲੱਗੇ।

ਉਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਤੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਲਸ਼ਕਰ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, “ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਹੈ।”

ਤਹੁਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਬਸ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ-ਆਪਣੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਡਟੇ ਰਹੋ ਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਘਬਰਾਓ ਨਾ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੱਲ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਰ ਪੈਣਾ।’”
Job 15:21
ਹਰ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਸਮਝੇਗਾ।
Proverbs 28:1
ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੌਸਲੇਮੰਦ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Isaiah 30:7
ਇਹ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਕੌਮ ਮਿਸਰ ਹੈ। ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ “ਨਿਕਂਮਾ ਅਜਗਰ” ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
Isaiah 30:15
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ, ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤ ਆਓਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਓਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਾਕਤ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਤ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।” ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਘੋੜੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਨੇ!” ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ।
