ਤਾਂ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦੇਵੋ!

ਤਾਂ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸਬੂਤ ਦੇ।

Psalm 103:13
