Judges 18:20
ਇਹ ਸੁਣਕੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਏਫ਼ੋਦ, ਘਰੋਗੀ ਬੁੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਏ। ਉਹ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ।

Proverbs 30:15

Isaiah 56:11
ਉਹ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਕੁਤਿਆਂ ਵ੍ਵਰਗੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਜਦੇ। ਅਯਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੀ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਭਟਕ ਗਈਆਂ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਲਾਲਚੀ ਨੇ, ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਨੇ।
Ezekiel 13:19

Hosea 4:3

ਜਿਸ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਉਂ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਰਾਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ।
2 Peter 2:3
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੱਸੱਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਉੱਠਾਉਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੇਗੀ।
2 Peter 2:15
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਗਲਤ ਰਾਹ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਬਿਓਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਕੁਮਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਸੀ।
