וַיִּצָּעֵק֙ the va-yee-tsa-AKE אִ֣ישׁ men eesh אֶפְרַ֔יִם of ef-RA-yeem וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ר Ephraim va-ya-uh-VORE צָפ֑וֹנָה gathered tsa-FOH-na וַיֹּֽאמְר֨וּ themselves va-yoh-meh-ROO לְיִפְתָּ֜ח together, leh-yeef-TAHK מַדּ֣וּעַ׀ and MA-doo-ah עָבַ֣רְתָּ׀ went ah-VAHR-ta לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם northward, leh-hee-la-HAME בִּבְנֵֽי and beev-NAY עַמּ֗וֹן said AH-mone וְלָ֙נוּ֙ unto veh-LA-NOO לֹ֤א Jephthah, loh קָרָ֙אתָ֙ Wherefore ka-RA-TA לָלֶ֣כֶת passedst la-LEH-het עִמָּ֔ךְ thou ee-MAHK בֵּֽיתְךָ֕ over bay-teh-HA נִשְׂרֹ֥ף to nees-ROFE עָלֶ֖יךָ fight ah-LAY-ha בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ against ba-AYSH -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Jephthah va-YOH-mer יִפְתָּח֙ said yeef-TAHK אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם unto uh-lay-HEM אִ֣ישׁ them, eesh רִ֗יב I reev הָיִ֛יתִי and ha-YEE-tee אֲנִ֛י my uh-NEE וְעַמִּ֥י people veh-ah-MEE וּבְנֵֽי were oo-veh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן at AH-mone מְאֹ֑ד great meh-ODE וָֽאֶזְעַ֣ק strife va-ez-AK אֶתְכֶ֔ם et-HEM וְלֹֽא with veh-LOH הוֹשַׁעְתֶּ֥ם the hoh-sha-TEM אוֹתִ֖י children oh-TEE מִיָּדָֽם׃ of mee-ya-DAHM -
וָֽאֶרְאֶ֞ה when va-er-EH כִּֽי I kee אֵינְךָ֣ saw ay-neh-HA מוֹשִׁ֗יעַ that moh-SHEE-ah וָֽאָשִׂ֨ימָה ye va-ah-SEE-ma נַפְשִׁ֤י delivered nahf-SHEE בְכַפִּי֙ me veh-ha-PEE וָֽאֶעְבְּרָה֙ not, va-eh-beh-RA אֶל I el בְּנֵ֣י put beh-NAY עַמּ֔וֹן my AH-mone וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם life va-yee-teh-NAME יְהוָ֖ה in yeh-VA בְּיָדִ֑י my beh-ya-DEE וְלָמָ֞ה hands, veh-la-MA עֲלִיתֶ֥ם and uh-lee-TEM אֵלַ֛י passed ay-LAI הַיּ֥וֹם over HA-yome הַזֶּ֖ה against ha-ZEH לְהִלָּ֥חֶם the leh-hee-LA-hem בִּֽי׃ children bee -
וַיִּקְבֹּ֤ץ Jephthah va-yeek-BOHTS יִפְתָּח֙ gathered yeef-TAHK אֶת together et כָּל kahl אַנְשֵׁ֣י all an-SHAY גִלְעָ֔ד the ɡeel-AD וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם men va-yee-LA-hem אֶת of et אֶפְרָ֑יִם Gilead, ef-RA-yeem וַיַּכּוּ֩ and va-ya-KOO אַנְשֵׁ֨י fought an-SHAY גִלְעָ֜ד with ɡeel-AD אֶת Ephraim: et אֶפְרַ֗יִם and ef-RA-yeem כִּ֤י the kee אָֽמְרוּ֙ men ah-meh-ROO פְּלִיטֵ֤י of peh-lee-TAY אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ Gilead ef-RA-YEEM אַתֶּ֔ם smote ah-TEM גִּלְעָ֕ד ɡeel-AD בְּת֥וֹךְ Ephraim, beh-TOKE אֶפְרַ֖יִם because ef-RA-yeem בְּת֥וֹךְ they beh-TOKE מְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ said, meh-na-SHEH -
וַיִּלְכֹּ֥ד the va-yeel-KODE גִּלְעָ֛ד Gileadites ɡeel-AD אֶֽת took et מַעְבְּר֥וֹת ma-beh-ROTE הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן the ha-yahr-DANE לְאֶפְרָ֑יִם passages leh-ef-RA-yeem וְֽ֠הָיָה of VEH-ha-ya כִּ֣י Jordan kee יֹֽאמְר֞וּ before yoh-meh-ROO פְּלִיטֵ֤י the peh-lee-TAY אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ Ephraimites: ef-RA-YEEM אֶֽעֱבֹ֔רָה and eh-ay-VOH-ra וַיֹּ֨אמְרוּ it va-YOH-meh-roo ל֧וֹ was loh אַנְשֵֽׁי so, an-SHAY גִלְעָ֛ד that ɡeel-AD הַֽאֶפְרָתִ֥י when ha-ef-ra-TEE אַ֖תָּה those AH-ta וַיֹּ֥אמֶֽר׀ Ephraimites va-YOH-mer לֹֽא׃ which loh -
וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ said va-YOH-meh-roo לוֹ֩ they loh אֱמָר unto ay-MAHR נָ֨א him, na שִׁבֹּ֜לֶת Say shee-BOH-let וַיֹּ֣אמֶר now va-YOH-mer סִבֹּ֗לֶת Shibboleth: see-BOH-let וְלֹ֤א and veh-LOH יָכִין֙ he ya-HEEN לְדַבֵּ֣ר said leh-da-BARE כֵּ֔ן Sibboleth: kane וַיֹּֽאחֲז֣וּ for va-yoh-huh-ZOO אוֹת֔וֹ he oh-TOH וַיִּשְׁחָט֖וּהוּ could va-yeesh-ha-TOO-hoo אֶל not el מַעְבְּר֣וֹת frame ma-beh-ROTE הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן to ha-yahr-DANE וַיִּפֹּ֞ל pronounce va-yee-POLE בָּעֵ֤ת it ba-ATE הַהִיא֙ right. ha-HEE מֵֽאֶפְרַ֔יִם Then may-ef-RA-yeem אַרְבָּעִ֥ים they ar-ba-EEM וּשְׁנַ֖יִם took oo-sheh-NA-yeem אָֽלֶף׃ him, AH-lef -
וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֥ט Jephthah va-yeesh-POTE יִפְתָּ֛ח judged yeef-TAHK אֶת et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel yees-ra-ALE שֵׁ֣שׁ six shaysh שָׁנִ֑ים years. sha-NEEM וַיָּ֗מָת Then va-YA-mote יִפְתָּח֙ died yeef-TAHK הַגִּלְעָדִ֔י Jephthah ha-ɡeel-ah-DEE וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר the va-yee-ka-VARE בְּעָרֵ֥י Gileadite, beh-ah-RAY גִלְעָֽד׃ and ɡeel-AD -
וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤ט after va-yeesh-POTE אַֽחֲרָיו֙ him AH-huh-rav אֶת Ibzan et יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE אִבְצָ֖ן Bethlehem eev-TSAHN מִבֵּ֥ית judged mee-BATE לָֽחֶם׃ LA-hem -
וַֽיְהִי he VA-hee ל֞וֹ had loh שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים thirty sheh-loh-SHEEM בָּנִ֗ים sons, ba-NEEM וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים and oo-sheh-loh-SHEEM בָּנוֹת֙ thirty ba-NOTE שִׁלַּ֣ח daughters, shee-LAHK הַח֔וּצָה whom ha-HOO-tsa וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים he oo-sheh-loh-SHEEM בָּנ֔וֹת sent ba-NOTE הֵבִ֥יא abroad, hay-VEE לְבָנָ֖יו and leh-va-NAV מִן took meen הַח֑וּץ in ha-HOOTS וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֥ט thirty va-yeesh-POTE אֶת daughters et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל from yees-ra-ALE שֶׁ֥בַע abroad SHEH-va שָׁנִֽים׃ for sha-NEEM -
וַיָּ֣מָת died va-YA-mote אִבְצָ֔ן Ibzan, eev-TSAHN וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר and va-yee-ka-VARE בְּבֵ֥ית was beh-VATE לָֽחֶם׃ buried LA-hem -
וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤ט after va-yeesh-POTE אַֽחֲרָיו֙ him AH-huh-rav אֶת Elon, et יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל a yees-ra-ALE אֵיל֖וֹן Zebulonite, ay-LONE הַזְּבֽוּלֹנִ֑י judged ha-zeh-voo-loh-NEE וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֥ט va-yeesh-POTE אֶת Israel; et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל and yees-ra-ALE עֶ֥שֶׂר he EH-ser שָׁנִֽים׃ judged sha-NEEM -
וַיָּ֖מָת Elon va-YA-mote אֵיל֣וֹן the ay-LONE הַזְּבֽוּלֹנִ֑י Zebulonite ha-zeh-voo-loh-NEE וַיִּקָּבֵ֥ר died, va-yee-ka-VARE בְּאַיָּל֖וֹן and beh-ah-ya-LONE בְּאֶ֥רֶץ was beh-EH-rets זְבוּלֻֽן׃ buried zeh-voo-LOON -
וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֥ט after va-yeesh-POTE אַֽחֲרָ֖יו him ah-huh-RAV אֶת Abdon et יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the yees-ra-ALE עַבְדּ֥וֹן son av-DONE בֶּן of ben הִלֵּ֖ל Hillel, hee-LALE הַפִּרְעָֽתוֹנִֽי׃ a ha-peer-AH-toh-NEE -
וַֽיְהִי he VA-hee ל֞וֹ had loh אַרְבָּעִ֣ים forty ar-ba-EEM בָּנִ֗ים sons ba-NEEM וּשְׁלֹשִׁים֙ and oo-sheh-loh-SHEEM בְּנֵ֣י thirty beh-NAY בָנִ֔ים nephews, va-NEEM רֹֽכְבִ֖ים roh-heh-VEEM עַל that al שִׁבְעִ֣ים rode sheev-EEM עֲיָרִ֑ם on uh-ya-REEM וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֥ט threescore va-yeesh-POTE אֶת and et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל ten yees-ra-ALE שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה ass sheh-moh-NEH שָׁנִֽים׃ colts: sha-NEEM -
וַיָּ֛מָת Abdon va-YA-mote עַבְדּ֥וֹן the av-DONE בֶּן son ben הִלֵּ֖ל of hee-LALE הַפִּרְעָֽתוֹנִ֑י Hillel ha-peer-ah-toh-NEE וַיִּקָּבֵ֤ר the va-yee-ka-VARE בְּפִרְעָתוֹן֙ Pirathonite beh-feer-ah-TONE בְּאֶ֣רֶץ died, beh-EH-rets אֶפְרַ֔יִם and ef-RA-yeem בְּהַ֖ר was beh-HAHR הָֽעֲמָֽלֵקִֽי׃ buried HA-uh-MA-lay-KEE
