Judges 11:15
ਉਹ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਏ: “ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਿਫ਼ਤਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਮੋਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੱਲੀ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੰਮੋਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਜਾਉਂਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੜਨਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੂਤ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।’”
Numbers 21:13
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਨੋਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਨਦੀ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਵਾਦੀ, ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਲੇ ਸੀ।
Numbers 21:27
ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗਾਇੱਕ, ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ: “ਜਾਉ, ਜਾਕੇ ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸਾਰੋ! ਸੀਹੋਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬਤ ਬਣਾਉ।

“ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕਿ ਅੰਮੋਨੀ, ਮੋਆਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਈਰ ਪਹਾੜ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਹੱਲਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੜ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਹ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਖੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
