ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ! ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏਗਾ!” ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਆਕਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
