ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਰਾਹਾਬ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਰਾਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਸੂਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ ਰਾਹਾਬ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
