“‘ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਮੋਰੀ, ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀ, ਕਨਾਨੀ, ਹਿੱਤੀ, ਗਿਰਗਾਸੀ, ਹਿੱਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿਉ।
