ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਸਬੇ ਮਿਲੇ: ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚਲਾ ਗੋਲਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਗੋਲਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸੀ।) ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਅਸ਼ਤਰਾਹ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਅੱਧੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਕਸਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
