ਅਕਸਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਦੇ। ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨੇਗੇਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਮਾਰੂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦੇ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਕੁਝ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਪਰਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਈਏ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਘੱਲਾਂ। ਉਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਵਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਵਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਵੈਂਇੱਛਿਤ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਅਣਇੱਛਿਤ।
