ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੌਜੁਆਨ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਚੱਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਸੁੰਨਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲੀਏ। ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਥੋੜੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੇ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵਿਦਰੋਹ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ!”
