ਯੂਨਾਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਕੇਁਦਰੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਚਾਲੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨੀਨਵਾਹ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”

Jeremiah 18:7
ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਜਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਾਂਹ ਉੱਠਾਵਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਦਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਨ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਮੋਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਬੀ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਸੀਅਤ ਲਿਖ ਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮਰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਂਗਾ।”

ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ 15ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧਾਅ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਮਿੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ।”

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਬਦਲ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਿਉਂਤਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
