John 15
1 ਯਿਸੂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੇਲ ਹੈ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਦੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਵੇਲ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਾਗਵਾਨ ਹੈ।
2 ਹਰ ਉਹ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੀ, ਉਹ ਕੱਟ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹਰ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਛਾਂਗਦਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਫਲ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਫਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰੇ।
3 ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋਂ।
4 ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਫ਼ਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦੀ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।
5 “ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੇਲ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਹੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਫ਼ਲ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਬਗੈਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ।
6 ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
7 ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੋ ਸੋ ਮੰਗੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗ਼ਾ।
8 ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਹੋ। ਇਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
9 “ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹੋ।
10 ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ।
11 ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ।
12 ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ।
13 ਦੋਸਤ ਲਈ ਮਰਨਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
14 ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
15 ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਹੋਰ ਨੌਕਰ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਦਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬੁਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
16 “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਵੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੋਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਗੋਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਸੱਕੇ।
17 ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰੋ, ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ।
18 ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ “ਜੇਕਰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
19 ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
20 “ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ: ਇੱਕ ਦਾਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਿਆ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਣਗੇ।
21 ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।
22 ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਬਹਾਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ।
23 “ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
24 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੇਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ, ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
25 ਪਰ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ। ‘ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ।’
26 “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
27 ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੁਢ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

1 தீருவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஈராம் தாவீதினிடத்தில் ஸ்தானாபதிகளையும், அவனுக்கு ஒரு வீட்டைக் கட்டுகிறதற்குக் கேதுருமரங்களையும், தச்சரையும், கல்தச்சரையும் அனுப்பினான்.
Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.
2 கர்த்தர் தன்னை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாகத் திடப்படுத்தி, இஸ்ரவேலென்னும் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தினிமித்தம் தன்னுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை மிகவும் உயர்த்தினார் என்று தாவீது அறிந்துகொண்டான்.
And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.
3 எருசலேமிலே தாவீது பின்னும் அநேக ஸ்திரீகளை விவாகம்பண்ணி, பின்னும் குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters.
4 எருசலேமிலே அவனுக்குப் பிறந்த குமாரரின் நாமங்களாவன: சம்முவா, சோபாப், நாத்தான், சாலொமோன்,
Now these are the names of his children which he had in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,
5 இப்கார், எலிவா, எல்பெலேத்,
And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,
6 நோகா, நெப்பேக், யப்பியா,
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
7 எலிஷாமா, பெலியாதா, எலிப்பெலேத் என்பவைகள்.
And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
8 தாவீது சமஸ்த இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணப்பட்டதைப் பெலிஸ்தர் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, பெலிஸ்தர் எல்லாரும் தாவீதைத் தேடும்படி வந்தார்கள்; அதை தாவீது கேட்டபோது அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகப் புறப்பட்டான்.
And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.
9 பெலிஸ்தர் வந்து ரெப்பாயீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே பரவியிருந்தார்கள்.
And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
10 பெலிஸ்தருக்கு விரோதமாகப் போகலாமா, அவர்களை என் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பீரா என்று தாவீது தேவனைக் கேட்டபோது, கர்த்தர் போ, அவர்களை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன் என்றார்.
And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.
11 அவர்கள் பாகால்பிராசீமுக்கு வந்தபோது, தாவீது அங்கே அவர்களை முறியடித்து தண்ணீர்கள் உடைந்தோடுகிறதுபோல, தேவன் என் கையினால் என் சத்துருக்களை உடைந்தோடப்பண்ணினாரென்றான்; அதினிமித்தம் அந்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குப் பாகால்பிராசீம் என்னும் பேரிட்டார்கள்.
So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.
12 அங்கே அவர்கள் தங்கள் தெய்வங்களைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போனார்கள்; தாவீது கற்பித்தபடி அவைகள் அக்கினியாலே சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்டன.
And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.
13 பெலிஸ்தர் மறுபடியும் வந்து அந்தப் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே இறங்கினார்கள்.
And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.
14 அப்பொழுது தாவீது திரும்ப தேவனிடத்தில் விசாரித்ததற்கு, தேவன் நீ அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னாலே போகாமல், அவர்களுக்குப் பக்கமாய்ச் சுற்றி, முசுக்கட்டைச் செடிகளுக்கு எதிரேயிருந்து, அவர்கள்மேல் பாய்ந்து,
Therefore David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
15 முசுக்கட்டைச் செடிகளின் நுனிகளிலே செல்லுகிற இரைச்சலை நீ கேட்கும்போது, யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படு; பெலிஸ்தரின் பாளயத்தை முறிய அடிக்க தேவன் உனக்கு முன்னே புறப்பட்டிருப்பார் என்றார்.
And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.
16 தேவன் தனக்குக் கற்பித்தபடியே தாவீது செய்தபோது, பெலிஸ்தரின் இராணுவத்தைக் கிபியோன் துவக்கிக் காசேர்மட்டும் முறிய அடித்தார்கள்.
David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.
17 அப்படியே தாவீதின் கீர்த்தி சகல தேசங்களிலும் பிரசித்தமாகி, அவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிற பயத்தைக் கர்த்தர் சகல ஜாதிகளின்மேலும் வரப்பண்ணினார்.
And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations.
