ਯਿਸੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਲੇਲਾ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਦੇਖੋ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਲੇਲਾ, ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
