ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੈਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਪੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

Matthew 26:24
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ, ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਲਾਹਨਤ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਫ਼ੜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਭਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਜੰਮਦਾ।”
