Job 1:18
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਹਾਲੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਚੌਬੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੇੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਮੈਅ ਪੀ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਸੀ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਜਾਪਦੇ। ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖੋ। ਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਦ ਵਰਗਾ, ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਦਰਦ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਉਸ ਦਰਦ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਦਰਦ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ? ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਕਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
Jeremiah 51:31

Psalm 34:19
ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਔਕੜਾਂ ਆਉਣ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਔਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ।
Job 27:14
ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਕੱੋਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Job 23:2
“ਅੱਜ ਤਾਈਂ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਝੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਣ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਤਾਜ ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
Job 6:2
“ਜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਂਲਿਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਧਰਮ ਕੰਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਣ।

ਅਮਨੋਨ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਤਦ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਅਮਨੋਨ ਵੱਲ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੋ! ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਬ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ। ਕਿਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਇਸ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਘਬਰਾਉਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਆਖਿਰ ਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੀ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ ਨਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਬਣੋ, ਅਤੇ ਤਕੜੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋ।”
