Jeremiah 8:13
“‘ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ। “ਵੇਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਅੰਜੀਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਸੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਝੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।’”

| tree, fig the on | בַּתְּאֵנָ֗ה | battĕʾēnâ | ba-teh-ay-NA |
| and the leaf | וְהֶֽעָלֶה֙ | wĕheʿāleh | veh-heh-ah-LEH |
| fade; shall | נָבֵ֔ל | nābēl | na-VALE |
