Jeremiah 6:23
ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੀਰ-ਕਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਰਹਿਮ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਇੰਨੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਰਗੀ ਗਰਜ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਘੋੜਸਵਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ, ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀਏ ਧੀਏ, ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।”

Habakkuk 1:6

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੀਆਂ। ਦੋਸਤ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਨੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਵਾਂਗ ਚੋਟ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਖਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
Jeremiah 5:16
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੱਬੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਨੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਨੇ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਘੋੜਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ! ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਗੁਫ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਛੁਪ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਛੁਪ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਚੱਟਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
Jeremiah 4:13
ਦੇਖੋ! ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬੱਦਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਉੱਠ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰੱਥ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਤਰਾਰ ਨੇ। ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੁਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ! ਅਸੀਂ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ!

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਜ਼ਰਾੇਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਘੱਲੇਗਾ ਦੇਖੋ! ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਟੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਦੂਰ ਦੇਸੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
