Jeremiah 52:6
ਉਸ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਚੌਬੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ 9ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੁਰੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਬਚਿਆ।

| so that there was | וְלֹא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| no | הָיָ֥ה | hāyâ | ha-YA |
| bread | לֶ֖חֶם | leḥem | LEH-hem |
| for the people | לְעַ֥ם | lĕʿam | leh-AM |
