Jeremiah 51:2
ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਖੋਹ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲੈਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

“ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਮਾਨਧਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਓ, ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਓ। ਆਪਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਤੀਰ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਰੱਖੋ। ਬਾਬਲ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Jeremiah 50:29
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਵੋ, ਜੋ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੋ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬਚਕੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿਓ। ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਓਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਬਲ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੜਾ ਰੁੱਖਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਓ।
Jeremiah 50:32
ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ਬਾਬਲ ਚਕਰ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉੱਠਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਲਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।”

“ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੰਗ ਦਾ ਝੰਡਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕੋ! ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਵਜਾ ਦਿਓ! ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਦ ਜੰਗ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ! ਅਰਾਰਤ, ਮਿਂਨੀ, ਅਸ਼ਕਨਜ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿਓ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਦ ਲੜਨ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਚੁਣ ਲਵੋ। ਇੰਨੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਭੇਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਾਪਣ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਟਿੱਡੀਦਲ ਹੋਵੇ।
Ezekiel 5:12
ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੀਜਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੀਜਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਸੂਤ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਜਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
