Jeremiah 5:4
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਨ। ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈ। ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।

| know they | לֹ֤א | lōʾ | loh |
| not | יָדְעוּ֙ | yodʿû | yode-OO |
| the way | דֶּ֣רֶךְ | derek | DEH-rek |
| Lord, the of | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| nor the judgment | מִשְׁפַּ֖ט | mišpaṭ | meesh-PAHT |
| of their God. | אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ | ʾĕlōhêhem | ay-loh-hay-HEM |
