Jeremiah 49:36
ਮੈਂ ਚਹੁਂਆਂ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਏਲਾਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਊਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚਹੁਂਆਂ ਕੋਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਏਲਾਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਓਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਭੇਜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਚਾਰੇ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਗਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਏਲਾਮ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲ ਲਿਜਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

| quarters | קְצ֣וֹת | qĕṣôt | keh-TSOTE |
| of heaven, | הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם | haššāmayim | ha-sha-MA-yeem |
| and will scatter | וְזֵ֣רִתִ֔ים | wĕzēritîm | veh-ZAY-ree-TEEM |
| all toward them | לְכֹ֖ל | lĕkōl | leh-HOLE |
| those | הָרֻח֣וֹת | hāruḥôt | ha-roo-HOTE |
| winds; | הָאֵ֑לֶּה | hāʾēlle | ha-A-leh |
| and there shall be | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| no | יִהְיֶ֣ה | yihye | yee-YEH |
| nation | הַגּ֔וֹי | haggôy | HA-ɡoy |
| whither | אֲשֶׁ֛ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh | |
| the outcasts | יָב֥וֹא | yābôʾ | ya-VOH |
| of Elam | שָׁ֖ם | šām | shahm |
| shall not | נִדְּחֵ֥י | niddĕḥê | nee-deh-HAY |
