Jeremiah 49:20
ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣੋ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਸੁਣੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜ (ਲੋਕਾਂ) ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਸੀਟੇਗਾ, ਅਦੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਾਂਦਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਸੱਖਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

ਅਦੋਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਦੋਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਕੀ ਤੇਮਾਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੀ? ਕੀ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇ? ਕੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਗੁਆ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਨੇ?
Ephesians 1:11
ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਜ਼ਾਮੰਦ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Jeremiah 49:17
“ਅਦੋਮ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉੱਜੜੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਕੇ ਧੱਕਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਉੱਜੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲਈ, ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਕੇ ਸੀਟੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ: ਮੈਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਬਾਸਰਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮਲਬੇ ਦਾ ਢੇਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਲੋਕੀ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦ-ਦੁਆ ਦੇਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਬਾਸਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”

Isaiah 46:10

Isaiah 14:24

Proverbs 19:21
