ਆਪਣੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਠੀਆਂ ਪਾ ਲਵੋ। ਸਿਪਾਹੀਓ, ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਘੋੜਿਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋ। ਮੈਦਾਨੇ ਜੰਗ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰ ਪਵੋ। ਆਪਣੇ ਟੋਪ ਪਹਿਨ ਲਵੋ। ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ। ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰਾਬਕੱਤ ਪਾ ਲਵੋ।

ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰ-ਕਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ, ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ਰਾਬਕਤਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਗੱਭਰੂਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਗ਼ਮ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ।

ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “‘ਦੇਖੋ, ਇੱਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ! ਮਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤਲਵਾਰ। ਲਿਸ਼ਕਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤਲਵਾਰ! ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਲਵਾਰ! ਲਿਸ਼ਕਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਇਹ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਾਂਗਰਾਂ!
