Jeremiah 43:10
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ, ਆਖੀਂ: ‘ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਬੁਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਤਖਤ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਦਬਿਆ ਹੈ। ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਤਰੀ ਤਾਣੇਗਾ।

Psalm 31:20

Psalm 27:5

Ezekiel 29:18
“ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਤੋਂ ਸਖਤ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਾਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਂਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹਰ ਮੋਢਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਬੋਝ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਰਗੜ ਕੇ ਨੰਗਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਸੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।”

ਜਦੋਂ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੂਜੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਅ ਪੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਨੇ ਆਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਆਹਾਬ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੱਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
