Jeremiah 40:9
ਗਦਲਯਾਹ ਵਲਦ ਅਹੀਕਾਮ ਵਲਦ ਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਧੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁੱਖ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ। ਗਲਦਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ: “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਓ, ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਡਰੋ। ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ।

Jeremiah 38:17
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਤਮ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਤੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਖਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
Genesis 49:15

Psalm 37:3
