Jeremiah 35:9
ਅਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਮਕਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ। ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਬਗੀਚਿਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਦੇ। ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੀਜਦੇ।

ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮਕਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਸਾਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ, ਬੀਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੀਜਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੀਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੀਕ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹੋਁਗੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਘੁੰਮਦੇ ਹੋ।’

ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗੀਏ? ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ। ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖੇਤ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੀਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵਾਂਗੇ।”
