“ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਇਸ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ: ‘ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਧੇ ਖੱਟੇ ਅੰਗੂਰ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਇਆ ਸੁਆਦ ਖੱਟਾ।18

Jeremiah 31:30
ਨਹੀਂ, ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਲਈ ਮਰੇਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਖੱਟੇ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਓਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਖੱਟਾ ਸੁਆਦ ਆਵੇਗਾ।”
