Jeremiah 26:21
ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਊਰੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ। ਰਾਜਾ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਊਰੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਊਰੀਯਾਹ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਬਚਕੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ।

ਡਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ੰਧੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਸੀਨਈ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਈਜ਼ਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢਿਆ।
