Jeremiah 22:27
ਯੇਹੋਇਆਚਿਨ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ-ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।”

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਕੁਝ ਇੱਕ ਲੋਕ ਬਚਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਸੱਕਣ।”

ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਵੀਲ ਮਰੋਦਕ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਨ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਨ ਤੋਂ 37ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ’ਚ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਪਰੀ। ਇਉਂ ਅਵੀਲ ਮਰੋਦਕ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਤੋਂ 12ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ 27 ਦਿਨ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ।

ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਿਉ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ।
Jeremiah 22:11
ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ੱਲੁਮ (ਯੇਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼) ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਸ਼ੱਲੁਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਿਆ।) “ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ।

ਯੇਹੋਇਚਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਯੇਹੋਇਚਿਨ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਕੈਦ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਸਦੀ ਕੈਦ ਦੇ 37 ਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਵੀਲ-ਮਰੋਦਕ ਯੇਹੋਇਚਿਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯੇਹੋਇਚਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਸਾਲ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਉਸੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਵੀਲ-ਮਰੋਦਕ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਵੀਲ-ਮਰੋਦਕ ਨੇ ਯੇਹੋਇਚਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪੱਚੀਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਕੈਦ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ।
