Jeremiah 15:2
ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ, ‘ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ?’ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ, ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “‘ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਨਗੇ।

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣ, ‘ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ?’ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ, ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “‘ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਨਗੇ।
