Isaiah 8:21
ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁੱਖਮਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਮਰਨਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਤੱਕਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪਣਗੇ।
| And they shall pass | וְעָ֥בַר | wĕʿābar | veh-AH-vahr |
| bestead hardly it, through | בָּ֖הּ | bāh | ba |
| and hungry: | נִקְשֶׁ֣ה | niqše | neek-SHEH |
| pass, to come shall it and | וְרָעֵ֑ב | wĕrāʿēb | veh-ra-AVE |
| that when | וְהָיָ֨ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| hungry, be shall they | כִֽי | kî | hee |
| they shall fret themselves, | יִרְעַ֜ב | yirʿab | yeer-AV |
| and curse | וְהִתְקַצַּ֗ף | wĕhitqaṣṣap | veh-heet-ka-TSAHF |
| king their | וְקִלֵּ֧ל | wĕqillēl | veh-kee-LALE |
| and their God, | בְּמַלְכּ֛וֹ | bĕmalkô | beh-mahl-KOH |
| and look | וּבֵאלֹהָ֖יו | ûbēʾlōhāyw | oo-vay-loh-HAV |
| upward. | וּפָנָ֥ה | ûpānâ | oo-fa-NA |
| לְמָֽעְלָה׃ | lĕmāʿĕlâ | leh-MA-eh-la |
