Isaiah 7:3
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਆਰ ਯਾਸ਼ੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਓ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਤਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਧੋਬੀਘਾਟ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਗਲੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।

ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਈ ਨੇੜੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਤਲਾਅ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੁਕ ਗਏ। ਉੱਪਰਲਾ ਤਲਾਅ ਧੋਬੀਘਾਟ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।

ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਣਾ ਤਦ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਖਾਸ ਕਮਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਤਰਤਾਨ, ਰਬਸਾਰੀਸ ਅਤੇ ਰਬਸ਼ਾਕੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਤਲਾਬ ਦੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਟੈਂਕੀ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਜੋ ਕਿ ਧੋਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।

Isaiah 6:13
ਪਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਣਗੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਣਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਲੂਤ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਟਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੁੱਢ ਬਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਮੁੱਢ (ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ) ਬਹੁਤ ਖਾਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੁਖਮ ਹੈ।
Jeremiah 22:1
ਮੰਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਿਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਹ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਓੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ:

ਠੀਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬਨ-ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
Isaiah 55:7
ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਸੋਚਣੇ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਤ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਅਸਾਡਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਖਸ਼ਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ।
Isaiah 10:21
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਚੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

Exodus 7:15
ਸਵੇਰ ਵੇਲੇ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਦੀ ਤੇ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਜਾਵੀਂ। ਉਹ ਸੋਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਵੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸੱਪ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
