Isaiah 58:10

Proverbs 14:31
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਉਂਦਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਰਸੱਕਾਰਦਾ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗਰੀਬ ਲਈ ਦਯਾਲੂ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Proverbs 11:24

Isaiah 29:18
ਬੋਲੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ। ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ।
Proverbs 28:27

Psalm 112:5

Psalm 41:1
ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ।
Deuteronomy 15:7
