Isaiah 40:22
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ! ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਟਿੱਡੀਦਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਾਂਗ ਬੈਠਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਫ਼ੈਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

| out stretcheth that | הַנּוֹטֶ֤ה | hannôṭe | ha-noh-TEH |
| the heavens | כַדֹּק֙ | kaddōq | ha-DOKE |
| as a curtain, | שָׁמַ֔יִם | šāmayim | sha-MA-yeem |
| out them spreadeth and | וַיִּמְתָּחֵ֥ם | wayyimtāḥēm | va-yeem-ta-HAME |
| as a tent | כָּאֹ֖הֶל | kāʾōhel | ka-OH-hel |
| to dwell in: | לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ | lāšābet | la-SHA-vet |
