Isaiah 37:2
ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਅਲਯਾਕੀਮ, ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੱਕੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਬਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮੋਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਬੀ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਖਾਸ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ੍ਖੀ ਸਨ।

ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਤੜਕੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਤਕੌਅ ਦੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਖਲੋਅ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕੋ, ਸੁਣੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।”
Isaiah 36:3
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਬੰਦੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਬਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਹਿਲਕੀਆਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਯਾਕੀਮ, ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਨਾ। ਅਲਯਾਕੀਮ ਮਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਸੀ ਯੋਆਹ ਲੇਖਕਾਰ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੱਕੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
Isaiah 37:14
ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਤਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ। ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਚਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Joel 1:13
ਹੇ ਜਾਜਕੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਗੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨ ਲਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚੀ-ਉੱਚੀ ਰੋਵੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉੱਚੀ-ਉੱਚੀ ਰੋਵੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਗੀ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਵਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀਆਂ।
