Isaiah 30:20
ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਜ਼ ਖਾਧਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖੋਗੇ।

| of affliction, | וּמַ֣יִם | ûmayim | oo-MA-yeem |
| not shall yet | לָ֑חַץ | lāḥaṣ | LA-hahts |
| thy teachers | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| be removed into a corner | יִכָּנֵ֥ף | yikkānēp | yee-ka-NAFE |
| more, any | עוֹד֙ | ʿôd | ode |
| but thine eyes | מוֹרֶ֔יךָ | môrêkā | moh-RAY-ha |
| shall | וְהָי֥וּ | wĕhāyû | veh-ha-YOO |
| see | עֵינֶ֖יךָ | ʿênêkā | ay-NAY-ha |
| רֹא֥וֹת | rōʾôt | roh-OTE | |
| thy teachers: | אֶת | ʾet | et |
