Isaiah 29:13
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਁ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਆਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਦਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਟੇ-ਰਟਾਏ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਸੂਲ ਹਨ।

Jeremiah 3:10

Isaiah 58:2

Proverbs 30:6

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਚੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ। ਇੱਕ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਂ।
Isaiah 48:1
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ‘ਇਸਰਾਏਲ’ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਪਰ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।”
2 Chronicles 29:1
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਜਦੋਂ 25ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ 29ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ।
