Isaiah 19:4
ਮਾਲਿਕ, ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਖਤ ਹਾਕਮ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਇੱਕ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ।”

Ezekiel 29:19
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲਈ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਇਸ ਵਕਤ ਕਈਲਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ! ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਾਖਾਂ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਬੰਦ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।”
Psalm 31:8
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨਗੇ। ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨਗੇ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
