Genesis 7:21
ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤਲਾ ਹਰ ਜੀਵ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ-ਹਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਔਰਤ, ਹਰ ਪੰਛੀ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ। ਸੁੱਕੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਮਰ ਗਈ।

| beast, of and | וּבַ֣חַיָּ֔ה | ûbaḥayyâ | oo-VA-ha-YA |
| and of every | וּבְכָל | ûbĕkāl | oo-veh-HAHL |
| creeping thing | הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ | haššereṣ | ha-SHEH-rets |
| creepeth that | הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ | haššōrēṣ | ha-shoh-RAYTS |
| upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
