Genesis 44:34
ਜੇ ਇਹ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਿਥਰੋ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਆਈਆਂ। ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੌਹਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ।
1 Samuel 2:33

“ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਏ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੱਸਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਵਕਤ ਆਇਆ।
