Genesis 42:2
ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਿਸਰ ਕੋਲ ਵੇਚਣ ਲਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਉ ਅਨਾਜ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਲਈ ਉੱਥੇ ਚੱਲੀਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਜਿਉਂ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”

Genesis 43:2
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਾਰਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਅਨਾਜ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਉ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਅਨਾਜ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਿਆਉ।”
