Genesis 30:39
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮੇਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਜੰਮੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੱਬੇ ਸਨ ਜਾਂ ਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

| conceived | הַצֹּ֖אן | haṣṣōn | ha-TSONE |
| before | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the rods, | הַמַּקְל֑וֹת | hammaqlôt | ha-mahk-LOTE |
| forth brought and | וַתֵּלַ֣דְןָ | wattēladnā | va-tay-LAHD-na |
| cattle | הַצֹּ֔אן | haṣṣōn | ha-TSONE |
| ringstraked, | עֲקֻדִּ֥ים | ʿăquddîm | uh-koo-DEEM |
| speckled, | נְקֻדִּ֖ים | nĕquddîm | neh-koo-DEEM |
| and spotted. | וּטְלֻאִֽים׃ | ûṭĕluʾîm | oo-teh-loo-EEM |
